藍 / Indigo
藍はあめつちの廻りによる賜りもの。
春に種をまき、 夏に藍葉をはぐくみ、 秋と冬には蒅をつくり、 一年余の時を経て色を迎える。
どの過程を憶い出してみても、 陽・氣・大地といった 大いなる存在から離れてゆくことはない。
靈性の現れともおもえる、奇しき営みに感謝をしつつ、 僕はいまも藍とともにあります。
Works
僕の手しごとによる作品の数々は、
くらしの中から着想をいただいて、
それらを形にしています。
My many handmade works are inspired by my everyday life
and are
shaped by them.
宵が明けるころの空の色
庭にそよぎたなびく風
暖をとるためにいただく山の木たち
炉の中で薪が爆ぜる音
日々の何気ない妻との会話
お喋りができるようになった息子が
ぽろっとこぼした一言。
The color of the sky as dawn breaks,
the breeze rustling through the
garden,
the wood from the mountains we use to keep warm,
the sound
of firewood crackling in the hearth,
casual daily conversations with
my wife,
A simple line my son let slip as he learned to talk.
毎日のなんともない出来事に、
耳を澄まし目を凝らし心を傾けると、
閃きとなってやってきます。
If you listen carefully,
focus your eyes, and pay attention to the
ordinary things that happen every day,
inspiring ideas will come to
you.
そんな、くらしから生まれた作品たちが、
誰かのくらしを豊かなものにできたらいいな。
そんなおもいの元、手を動かしています。
I hope that these works born from everyday life will enrich
someone's life.
With that hope in mind, I keep working with my hands.
また、手しごとの数々を見ていただいたり、
直に手にとっていただくことが、
くらしという存在に対する機微を
大切にするきっかけとなれたなら嬉しいです。
