染色のご依頼について

綿や麻といった植物性の繊維素材は、藍染との相性がよいためオススメいたします。

We recommend plant-based fiber materials such as cotton and linen, as they go well with indigo dyeing.

動物性の繊維素材である絹やウールも染色が可能ですが、製品の状態によってはお断りをさせていただく場合がございます。

We can also dye animal fiber materials such as silk and wool, but we may refuse to do so depending on the condition of the product.

ポリエステルやナイロンなどの石油由来の化学繊維は藍染との相性がよくなく、染色をしても激しい色落ちが想定できるため、お断りをしております。

Petroleum-derived synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon do not work well with indigo dyeing, and even if dyed, the color is likely to fade significantly, so we do not accept them.

注意事項1

染色前の精錬と呼ばれる前処理工程で、油分や色落ちなどが目立って確認ができた場合は、染色を中断させていただく場合がございます。

If we detect noticeable oil or discoloration during the pre-treatment process called scouring before dyeing, we may have to stop the dyeing process.

注意事項2

藍染と相性がよいとされている素材であっても、織の構造や生地加工の影響によっては色づきが鈍い製品もございます。予めご了承ください。

Please note that even if a material is said to be compatible with indigo dyeing, the color may not take on as well as it should due to the weave structure or fabric processing.

製品に若干の縮みが生じる場合がございます。

There may be some shrinkage in the product.

素材の特徴や性質により、ご希望の濃度まで達しない場合や、ご希望の濃度と若干の濃度差が生じる場合がございます。

Depending on the characteristics and properties of the material, the desired concentration may not be achieved or may differ slightly from the desired concentration.

素材が劣化している場合、染色や洗い処理の際に破れや付属品の欠け・外れ・紛失が生じる場合がございます。

If the material has deteriorated, tears or chipped, detached, or lost accessories may occur during the dyeing or washing process.

汗シミや脂シミ、制汗剤ご使用の箇所が変色する場合がございます。

Discoloration may occur in areas with sweat stains, oil stains, or where antiperspirant has been used.

分厚い素材によっては色が入りにくい場合がございます。

Depending on the thickness of the material, it may be difficult to get the color in.
